What is Math Mingle?

We are building Math Mingle to be a community that celebrates how math shows up in family life. We aim to engage in family conversations around our belief that all people are math people. And, we acknowledge that math (as a subject and as a presence in our daily lives) is messy, polarizing, historically discriminatory, and too easy to find problematic. We will share how we, as parents and math educators, aim to change conversations about what math is, how it shows up for us, and why we can/should continue to find math joy in our family lives.
